Wood Pendant Necklace

Is there any type of wood that you should not burn for pyrography craft purposes?
I’m thinking of trying to make necklace pendants by slicing tree pruned branches in my local neighborhood, and then woodburning animal designs on them. But I cannot identify all trees. Is there any kind of wood that may be dangerous to burn? Any safety tips are greatly appreciated.
natural trees should be okay, don’t burn or cut commercial pressure treated wood.
