EMF Protection Pendant Review

Choosing an EMF pendant is a challenge. There are so many different EMF protection pendants on the market these days. It can be overwhelming to wade through all the choices to do a comprehensive comparison of them all. I’ve chosen just three to compare for this review: The Q-Link, the EarthCalm Scalar Resonator, and the Bioelectric Shield.

I’ve chosen these EMF pendants based on the similarity in price range, the fact that the companies have all been on the market for at least 15 years, and they all have a 90-day guarantee. Each company has convincing evidence that their product works best. However, after much reading and sorting through the information, my personal choice is now clear.

The Q-Link EMF Pendant

By far, Q-Link appears to have the greatest presence on the internet. There are numerous distributor sites, giving a lot of varying (and sometimes confusing and contradictory) information. After reading through many of them, what I’m most struck with is a sense of aggressive hype about the product on almost all the sites. I feel somewhat pushed and prodded and cleverly directed to buy their product. Something in me rebels—but that may just be me.

To their credit, however, they do have a number of attractive versions. The Q-Link pendant comes in all different colors, several different shapes, and is constructed from many different combinations of metals. The pendants range from about $100 to $1600, depending on whether it’s stainless steel, copper, silver, gold or combinations thereof.

Q-Link technology consists of a “copper coil, a resonating microchip and a mixture of crushed crystalline material.” These all interact, creating a technology known as “Sympathetic Resonance Technology” (SRT), which affects our “biofield”. I watched a video describing how SRT works. Although it explained it in simple terms, I was still not quite clear in the end how the pendant would work to protect me from EMFs.

There are a number of testimonials—some from celebrities—that are convincing. There appears to be a lot of research done on the Q-Link, which looks impressive.  Overall, comments are favorable about reduction in headaches and stress. Deepak Chopra says he feels “quite invigorated wearing it.”

The EarthCalm EMF Pendant

Like Q-Link, EarthCalm offers a long list of sites on a Google search. Their main site is easy to find. Unlike the Q-Link sites, it feels very calm and relaxing to read—very nice when looking for an EMF pedant to relieve stress! The site is also extremely informative and educational—not only about their products, but about the hazards of EMFs. (In particular, they have an extensive easy-to-read blog.)

The EarthCalm EMF pendant, known as the “Scalar Resonator”, comes in two versions. The first is called the “Nova Scalar Resonator”. It features a sterling silver mounting with a paua shell on one side and your choice of either an Amber gem or a black onyx on the other. This one is “designed for those who are basically healthy”. It’s lovely and sells for $349.

For those who are chronically ill or are electro-sensitive, there’s a second version, referred to as the “Traditional Scalar Resonator.” This is an attractive stylized sterling silver tube, and sells for $249.

A nice personal touch is their page on the inventor herself, which brings you face to face with a woman who struggled with electro-sensitivity her whole life until she began inventing the EarthCalm products. You can see from reading the site that EarthCalm makes a point of providing products for the electro-sensitive—as a lot of people evidently are extra sensitive to EMFs and don’t know it. They also distinguish between low-level EMFs and microwave radiation that comes from cell phones and other wireless devices.

The main type of technology EarthCalm uses is “Scalar Resonance Technology” that’s produced by “proprietary circuits” in the pendants. Much is explained in their Q&A section about these circuits and their technology. But in essence, it’s claimed that in wearing this EMF pendant, you’re drawn into the Earth’s electromagnetic field (or the Schumann Resonance), which protects you from EMFs.

Perhaps what’s most impressive about the EarthCalm site is the extensive number of testimonials that are quite specific about a whole variety of ailments that customers say have been cured or otherwise positively affected by wearing the pendant. The testimonials also include statements about feeling calmer, more energized or less stressed, as the testimonials of other EMF pendants claim. But there seems to be some “real meat” in these testimonials—and do seem authentic. 

The Bioelectric Shield EMF Pendant

The sites I found for the Bioelectric EMF pendant were also easier to read than the Q-Link sites, in terms of less hype—although they weren’t as informative and educational as the EarthCalm sites. Over all, the sites felt inviting—I kept wanting to read more.

Part of it has to do with the fact that the Bioelectric Shield is an extremely attractive EMF pendant. Like the Q-Link, it comes in a variety of shapes and metals. They range from about $287 (sterling silver) to $5277 (gold with a small diamond gem).

The Bioelectric Shield EMF pendant functions through “Earth Resonance Technology”, which consists of “quartz crystals and other gems.” The technology works by “deflecting and redirecting energies that impinge on you from your environment (just as a mirror deflects light).” And by “reinforcing and balancing your own natural positive energies, making you less susceptible to outside disturbances and helping you cope with the energy overload of modern day living and the stresses of life.”

In describing their technology, they make reference to their use of principles derived from physics—and to well-known scientists who proved the power of crystals to repel EMFs. I was almost convinced by this, until I read about the “two gifted consultants” they use who “see energy” and say that the Shield “emanates Light which includes the frequency of Love.” This may all be true (I’m not belittling the possible power of psychics to see energy). But I’ve got to say it makes me a little nervous to read this metaphysical reference for a product I want to shield me from something as real and hazardous as EMFs.

The testimonials I found for this product were good, although mainly they’re about feeling more “balanced and blissful”. Or about having more energy, not feeling drained or so “negative.” Like Q-Link, they have testimonials from several celebrities. One author, Dr. Wayne Dyer, stated that he noticed a significant shift in his energy, particularly after long periods of time on airplanes.Again, all good—but does this mean I’d feel protected from EMFs?

The EMF pendants from each of these companies look attractive to me and worth testing for the 90-day guarantee period. However, if I wanted to buy just one pendant, I would opt for one from EarthCalm. I find I prefer EarthCalm’s simple, straightforward style of explaining their products and how they work. If I were mainly interested in having a piece of jewelry that was spectacular (and had the money for it), I might choose one of the higher-end pieces of the other two companies. But for a product I would depend on to protect me from EMFs, I’d have to go for the EarthCalm Scalar Resonator.

In doing the research for this EMF pendant review, I have learned a lot about new, alternative science and how it is assisting people in today’s world. You just have to ferret out what looks like metaphysical quasi-science from what might really be new discoveries in the frontiers of science. To your health!
