Sparkly Jewelry Meets Rock and Roll
One of the big trends for fall is pairing edgier pieces with contrasting ones. White and black, satin and studs and sparkles and punk. It’s a way for us to take ourselves less seriously and have a little more fun with our look. After all, with constant news of doom and gloom, shouldn’t fashion be a small way to escape and make ourselves feel better?
Diamond and Cubic Zirconia jewelry used to be considered the norm for red carpet events and black tie affairs. But who goes to many of those types of outings anyways? It’s probably only a few times a year, if that. Luckily, this is the season to break out your CZ jewelry that you’ve been storing away in the back of your jewelry box. Start wearing it day or night with some of these tips from our style team.
With leather – Leather (real or faux) is stealing the scene this season. A great way to balance the look is to pair it with CZ jewelry such as a great necklace, pair of earrings or cocktail ring. It might be a little much for an office look, but is perfect for date night or drinks.
With jeans – Cubic Zirconia jewelry adds enough glam on its own. Therefore, when you add a pair of distressed jeans, you’ve hit the nail on the head. This creates a laid back yet fashion forward look that is a welcome deviation from the little black dress. Grab dinner, catch a movie or check out a fun art exhibit.
With black and white – Nothing says edgier better than pieces that offer sharp contrast like black and white. This season, asymmetrical hems, one shouldered designs and interesting cuts are bringing a new take on modern fashion. But, you can still look chic in these designs. Just add CZ jewelry to make the look wearable to the office or after hours.
