Should I trust customizing my guitar ?
I have a ESP EX, and i ordered Iron Cross inlays, for pretty cheap so its going to good use, and i they aren’t inlays that you have to take out the old ones, they simply stick over the inlays that are on it now. Should i maybe try to stick them to something else first (something similar to the wood on the fretboard) and see if it comes off easly ?

According to the website, they should stick to the fretboard fine as well as be able to be cleaned and you can still condition your fretboard without them coming off. So, testing them shouldn’t be necessary as they may also be hard to get off.
For $7, they seem like a great price to spruce up your guitar neck on the cheap. Installing custom inlays like the other answerer said will be very costly and permanent as well. Im not even sure what he means that he just had his fretboard redone. It sounds like he had a grind and polish on his frets for that price. Inlays are intricate to put in, as well as getting good material and shaping it if not already shaped.
Stickers like this are a great cheap fix and they should last a long time. Just make sure your fretboard is clean and dry before putting these decals on and it is likely that you wont be able to move them after putting them on, so make sure they are in the right spot.
