Question about the college of the holy cross?
They say it is important to show interest in colleges that you want to go to. I really want to go to the college of the holy cross and do pre med. I am a sophomore is there any way I can already show interest?
Interest is the most important, especially for Holy Cross. (After you apply they send a postcard asking you how much contact you have had with the school.) My brother goes to Holy Cross and I am applying there this year; I am a senior.
As a sophomore you really don’t have to worry about it yet. Come junior year or the summer before senior year this is what you should do:
1. Go to campus, take a tour, and attend an information session.
2. Have an admissions interview (Do this in the summer before senior year or during the fall of senior year.) Admissions interviews are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Holy Cross–basically meaning if you don’t do an interview, you’re crazy!
3. Attend any college fairs or receptions in your area where Holy Cross is represented.
4. Participate in the Holy Cross online chat Q&A sessions.
Good luck! It’s a little early to be thinking about this as a sophomore but right now concentrate on your school work and prepare for the college search. It’s good that you know where you want to go, and HC is a great school.
