Is it ok to wear a ring on my left ring finger?

I’m 17 and recently I’ve been given a beautiful silver ring by an old family friend. It’s a little unusual and has a square blue sapphire on one side (but not showy at all). The left ring finger is the only one it fits (still a little tight though)… anyway I was wondering whether there is anything wrong with wearing it there? …is it really a guy repellent or bad luck?
…also my right ring finger is occupied by another silver ring which has a small diamond cross and some engravings with religious connotations…

soo what are your thoughts? …I’m not exactly one to comply with the normalities of society, but I’m still quite superstitious and a little worried about this.. :/

No. Don’t go there, you’ll just look either delusional or desperate to be married. Probably both. Go to a jewelers and get the ring re-sized so you can wear it on a different finger.
