1. Dog fighting was once considered a sport and an entertaining event which was harmless.
2. Dog fighting is far from being entertaining or a sport, but is an in humane activity that is some may consider a sport.
3. The history will give informational findings dealing with early stages of dog fighting.
4. The sociological review will explain how and why dog fighting affects a large amount of poor urban areas.
5. Criminology area will explain how this in humane activity is considered entertaining and a money profit business (organization).
6. Dog fighting history sociological and criminal aspect will be unleashed.

History
50 AD
It was noted that in AD, the Romans and the British used dogs for combat during their years in battle. Once the Romans conquered and defeated the British, they took the dogs that were seized and used them for other events. The Romans were impressed with the skills and the agility the British dog possessed, they not only used them for war, but also for entertaining sporting events.
History has taught us that in previous century large amount of people from Ireland migrated to America due to the hunger period during the mid 1800′s, and with the migrants, were fearless fighters tagging along, their dogs. The migrants used their fighting dogs in America to earn extra money so that they could eat. Where New York is today, was the most populated area with the Ireland and England migrants.
During the years of ancient breeding, dogs were bred for specific jobs, such as War Dogs which was used for hunting, which meant that their ability to protect with the most proficient skills. Dogs in this category had to have a strong stamina and the about to fight for hours. The terrier and bulldog were categorized within these groups. The other groups were considered the watch dogs. Their name explains their responsibilities and duties, which included protecting the family from any unwanted trust passers that stole or tried to invade the homes of their owners. Protection dogs were used for laws enforcement assistance. This group reputation was great, especially with being tentative and intelligent.
The American pit bull terrier, which is the crossbreed of the terrier and bull dog. This breed originated in England and Ireland in during the 19th century. These dogs assisted in bull baiting and hunting. The reputation of the terrier having enormous amounts of strength and the bulldog have the athletic build and endurance, the cross breeding of these dogs made one dog with great strength and powers.
Ireland fight dog was called the “Irish Pit Terrier”, but also knows as the Fighting Terrier”. The Irish Pit Terriers were small dogs, weighing approximately less than 15 lbs. Soon after the Ireland immigrants came, immigrants came from England and Ireland, they too migrated their dogs, which was called a bulldog and terrier.
The Americans wanted bigger and powerful dogs; as a result, the terriers were crossed bred with Staffordshire bull terrier, whom was the original breeds that were used for bull baiting. Staffordshire Bull Terriers were said to come from the blood line of the fighting bulldog. This particular breed was know for their massive heads; they said to have come into existence in the early 1800′s, late 1700″s.
The American Staffordshire terrier was also a cross breed of the bulldog and terrier. What was different about this breed was that the two dogs were only chosen from pure blood lines so that the dog that is bred would contain half of both breed traits. This
