Gemstone Identification
One of the interesting and challenging questions, which is a retailer of semi-precious stone? “Stone, which is” often the answer is easy, either because the stone was ordered especially for the model or because it is an easily identifiable type of a particular mineral. For example, it is easy to identify by their color purple amethyst, and the relative transparency.
But what about the silver ring with unusual and beautiful stone in the world as part of a series of spinning? The ability to determine the correct classification of stone for facilitating the sale and improve the purchase from a customer perspective. Most people learn through experience, to identify the stones. Familiarity with the confidence of the stone-type breeds and a good precious knowledge that can be added gradually over time.Some background is useful. Gemologists use several methods to determine a type of stone. First, the background color used as a reference. Some minerals such as azurite and malachite are very consistent in the color of the sample to sample. Other precious stones such as quartz are difficult to classify because in all colors, depending on what trace elements are present. Purple Amethyst is a type of quartz with iron in place, while Rose Quartz gets its color from titanium.

In the same category classification method, we can apply the idea of “grain” or texture.
